Buying Magic Bands at the Parks and Not Activating Them

I have my BOG reservation for next week maybe I won't show up and then the tables have been turned, but since my family and I love to eat there we won't be doing that.

I suppose we will have to agree to disagree on this subject.

I do hope that everyone has a great vacation whenever it maybe!!!!

I have my fingers crossed I can score a BOG FP+ as a result of the campsite reservation. We will definitely use it, and probably line up if we don't get it.

But, I probably should not mention the numerous "fall back" ADRs that we have booked and only "might" use, and will cancel prior to the 24hr or 48hr window.

The more and more "structured" Disney forces us to be in our planning the more and more people will work the system to give themselves as much flexibility as possible. JMO

If they had not gone to Magicbands and FP+ being booked 60 days in advance I would have never booked a throwaway campsite. But now I feel I almost "HAVE" to, to maximize the trip for our family.

Eliminating the "180+10" is one way to remove the incentive to book a throwaway room. But the bump in FP booking from 30 days to 60 days for on site guests may still overide any concerns and provide the incentive to book a campsite. I suppose that they could also wipe out FPs for anyone who does not check in to their room/campsite by midnight of check-in date. They seem to wipe out FPs for lots of lesser reasons!

All possible ideas. But none of that is what the PP is doing. He IS checking in! He WILL BE at Fort Wilderness, picking up magic bands and parking passes. For some reason, some posters think that because he won't actually SLEEP at fort wilderness, he's performing some sort of unethical act and depriving the masses of their God-given vacationing rights.
