Buying into DVC and ahve a vaction booked already for December....

Can anyone call and find otu if they have anything available for December 7-13 or about those dates? We are buying AKV but will stay anywhere. there iwll eb 5 people all over age 3, so we would need a 2 bedroom somewhere on preperty or two rooms at any regualr resort. I would love to stay at The Grand Floridian!! We wil have 540 points to use.

We are going to use our developer points if there is room but wil take the discount on points if there are no room openings for our dates and continue paying cash for our Dec ressie.

Your guide can do this for you. When we bought, we bought in October and we had a trip scheduled for the week after Thanksgiving.

Our guide was able to help us secure a spot so we could cancel our ASMo reservation and use our DVC points

Yes, we did the same thing. We bought in June and had a Sept. trip planned. Our guide secured our accommodations at the VWL for us.

I believe one room will accommodate five at the GF. Good luck!

Anyone want to check for me if anything is available at the Grand Floridian for 6 nights between November 26 and December 14th of this year? I am torn between the developer points and the credit. I like to start vacation on a Thursday or Friday. the 6th through the 13 of December is prefferred but not a requirement. Thank you!

I did talk to my guide today and I thought I needed 2 rooms at the GF but now realize I only need one. He is leaving today to help open up a new site so he won't be in the office the rest of the week. I'd really appreciate it.

I know I won't use 540 points between now and next July/August, but if I used some, then I could rent the rest to family or something.
