Does the maestro mickey store at all star resort in disney world, sell cream cheese and peanut butter?
reason I ask is because we are flying and I am bringing brkfst foods along to save us time and money and airlines dont allow them in checked bags or in carry ons and we wont beable to stop at a store there because we are taking the bus to the resort as soon as we land. Thanks for the help.:)

I know the trading posts at Fort Wilderness carry both items but can not help with All Stars.

Are you sure about Packing the peanut butter? You Can definately pack it in a checked bag and you might even be able to pack it in a Carry on. The cream cheese is a little more prolematic because it needs to be refrigerated but I don't see anything wrong with a double ziplock with blue ice and a couple packages of cream cheese. The solid rectangles might work better than the whipped contained. You will need to bring a cooler or rent a fridge at the All Stars because the rooms do not come with a fridge. You can also just buy a small package of cream cheese at the food court every morning. You will have to go there anyway to use the toaster.

Pop's food court/store certainly did have those items for purchase. I would assume ASMu would too.

Check out this FAQ thread- bet the answer is in there.

I was thinking the same thing -- I don't see why you couldn't pack either cream cheese or PB in your CHECKED baggage. (I wouldn't worry much about refrigeration either because the checked luggage ends up at freezing temperatures for much of the flight.)

You can order groceries to be delivered to your room. I used garden grocer last time and was happy. You do pay a delivery charge but the prices were reasonable. Check out the budget board for more tips.

Yep I'm sure, I already chked with the airline we are taking, hopefully they sell it at the ASMR. =) We are staying in the family suites at ASMR and they have a lil kitchen with a coffee pot, mini fridge, microwave and such... so no need for the food court toaster, thankfully =) But now I'm thinking I might just wing it and pack them anyways and if they catch it the worse that will happen is they take them.

Weird...I've taken peanut butter in my checked luggage many times without an issue.

Me too. Including my trip back from WDW on 1/3/10.

sarahrip, I think that the airline may have (1) misunderstood your question or (2) was just in the middle of being hyper-vigilant when you asked them.

If you look at the TSA's website it clearly states that peanut butter is OK in your checked luggage:

I would also just pack the cream cheese too with some blue ice to keep it cool. Have a great trip!
