Buying extra days and selling them on ebay?

Has anyone here bought extra days and then sold them on ebay? I see extra days on ebay all the time, but hadn't heard anyone here doing it.

That is because it is illegal to do it. On the tickets it states that only the orignal purchaser can use the ticket. They are non-transferable. Disney can pull any of those auctions if they want to because of the rules on the tickets.

Saying that- I know my BIL has done this, and he had to overnight the tickets after his family was done because you only have 2 weeks from the orignal date to use them.

I have heard of more horror stories of people buying them on E-bay and getting to the gate and them NOT working. They end up paying more in the end.

I know someone recently who did this. They bought 7 day hoppers and sold 3 days, and used 4 days. They got about $120 each for the 3 day hoppers, so they really paid next to nothing for thier tickets in the end. They left them at thier hotel front desk for the people to pick up. I am not condoning doing it, just saying it has been done. I wouldn't personally buy them like this though, or sell them either.

I'll have to really think about it. Odd, how people's minds go to this differently. I was looking at it as a way to help people out, let another family get the tickets cheaper than they would if they had to buy them there. Not me making a profit kind of thing. We're going in March, and I was thinking about paying for the 5 day and only using three of them. A two day hopper that time of year is $122, and I'd be willing to sell them for significantly less than that! Don't want to get in trouble or be illegal, though. Really was thinking of it as helping out another family of 5. Hmmm, you gave me something to think about. Thanks.

The auctions that really fry me are the "you will buy the days use the tickets then we meet up and you give them back to me" RENTING the tickets! Usually 5 day park hoppers with them stating "if you want to upgrade do not bid on this auction" I mean that is too much IMO

i dont know but it better not be my remaining days ticket that got stolen from me...I will seriously kick some bootie...
