Buying discount gift cards WARNING

For those of you planning to buy discount Target cards from Raise.com...use the entire balance seconds after you receive the card.

I purchased a $219.25 target gift card from Raise.com. I then purchased 4 Disney gift cards using my REDcard discount. The very next morning, I tried to use the remaining balance, it was gone. Someone had used it in a California location. I am in Massachusetts.

I have since notified Raise.com and am awaiting a response from them. I will post the results when they come in.

Update...
I just received an email that Raise.com was giving me a refund. It did not say how much yet. That is suppose to come in another email.

I was expecting the worst possible out and got the best, it appears.

I will continue to use the service but will be sure that I use up the entire amount immediately. It is still a great way to save a few extra bucks on Disney and Southwest

How much did they refund you? The full amount that was stolen?

So I just got my email, They refunded the full amount less the discount I got for the card.

I have since bought additional cards. But I make sure that I use the cards immediately and don't leave a balance.

I have always heard they have good customer service. I used mine right away too.

I learned that Target has an app that allows you to consolidate gift cards onto another. I bought a physical card at target and now I combine all purchased cards to this card that is in my posession.
