Can you do that without buying hopper passes for the same child?

the only way to avoid buying tickets would be to purchase the ddp while staying on points at a dvc resort - that is the only time tickets aren't required for each person purchasing the ddp

Stephanie is correct, when you purchase the DDP, you are buying a package. If you age a child for part of the package, you have aged them for all of the package.
