Buying beer/alcohol at MCO?

My friend is going to Disney next week - they will be using Magical Express and will not have a car. Is there anywhere they can buy beer or alcohol to keep in their room at the resort?

Are there any other options for them as they won't be going offsite?

They could have it delivered. I just put an order in through Garden Grocer to have things delivered for our upcoming trip.

I checked their site and I don't think they ship alcohol

Most of the gift shops have liquor available. More expensive than regularly of course.

§ Call Garden Grocer (number available on website). They don't ship, they deliver - and will deliver alcohol, I believe only in conjunction with a grocery order.

§ Yes, liquor in the resorts' gift shops is more expensive than in "the real world", but I'd think still cheaper than any bought at the airport (if any can be).

§ The Hess stations onsite sell beer, and possibly more, at likely lower prices than the resorts.

§ Your friends could take a taxi to a liquor store or supermarket (beer/wine).
