I am looking to buy a 60 point add-on at Beach Club Villas. We have had a really tough time getting in there and I think having the 11 month window and 160 points there (already have 100) will really help. I really just have no idea how you buy points at BCV since they are all sold. Do I just call my guide? Thanks!

Yes, just call your guide. He/she will put you on the waitlist for BCV. You will need to give a cc#, so they can charge the $500 deposit when the points come thru.

We just got on the waitlist for a 60 point add-on. Here's hoping it doesn't take too long for either of us.

Thanks! Do I have to wait until BCV points become available for my use year?

Yes, since you want 60 points. If you wanted 150+ you could get another UY from Disney, another contract.

Bobbi :)

From what I have heard there is a long wait list for BCV add on points through Disney. If you want the points soon and do not mind paying a higher price you might want to look at the re-seller boards and offer a price that will pass ROFR. Does anyone know how long someone is currently waiting for an add on at the BCV? Of course if you buy through Disney there is no closing costs and you get the same use month as your other contract so you need to weigh your options.

Yes, but I already have 100 BCV points, so I would then have 160 which would be a nice amount to try to book a vacation with at the 11 month window.

There is usually a long wait time for BCV points for certain use years. For other use years, there may be points immediately available. Senecabeach has a thread here that follows the wait lists.

With resale, I know Disney has been ROFRing a LOT of the smaller contracts lately, so you might have a really tough time getting a small contract through ROFR. Maybe because you are already an owner they'd let it through, but they have really been gobbling up the 50-60 point resales recently.

Sorry, misread your post. Thought those other 100 were OKW points.

I put my name on the Timeshare Store resale list MONTHS ago for a small BC add on. Never have gotten a call. I am considering selling my HH points and buying 50 more BCV (I will probably do this soon. I don't ever plan to stay at HH and I like having the 11 month window at BC)
