? buying AP w/DVC discount through the website

Has anyone purchased an AP (not a renewal) with the DVC discount through the dvcmember website?
Do you get a voucher or is the pass activated on the date you order it in the computer?
How long does the pass or voucher take to be mailed to your home?

We are going to WDW at the end of Feb/beginning of Mar and I wanted to get the AP and a DDE card before our trip. I'm just a bit worried that if the MS computers aren't ready for AP with the DVC discount that the dvcmember site isn't either. Anyone know if they're process from the site or just collecting the order information.

I have heard on these boards that it can be done through the web site but have not done it myself. I'm sure others who have will give you more specifics.

You definitely get a voucher. They don't send activated AP's in the mail. It should only take a week or two. I think others have posted that they were able to get DDE with just a voucher.

I ordered 2 off of the website one day last week. According to the e-mail confirmation, I will receive them by 1/18. They aren't active until you bring them one of the parks to be activated.
In terms of getting the DDE, that is a bit different. They are active once you order them and they are taking longer to deliver because of the high demand, I have heard 4-6 weeks and 6-8 weeks, so you may want to call for that soon. But you have to call a certain 800 #, can't get them on a website.

Yes the length of time is accurate to get one, but they are sending an immediate e-mail confirmation for the DDE that you can print off and show for the discount if you are going to WDW before the real card arrives. The e-mail gives all of the information that the card would have on it. At least Disney realized they were going to be in high demand and are dealing with it in a positive way.

I have not ordered the DDE as of yet.
In terms of the AP, no I have not received them yet. The confirmation, stated that I would receive them yesterday. I didn't panic when I didn't receive them then, the mail can be a little slow sometimes. But now I know I am going to have to call customer service to give them by DVC member #.
I wish they had told us that sooner.
