buying AP at the park vs. online

So my AP recently expired. I had intended to renew online and take advantage of the offered discount but I had some technical problems, so it's too late for that.

Anyway, my question is are there different rates for the monthly payment option if you purchase online vs. in the park? I was at DL a week ago and could have sworn the sign said something in the neighborhood of $16/mo for SoCal select passes. Online it shows around $9 + $80 down.

Just curious what that was about or if I was totally hallucinating. Thanks in advance!

There is no difference in price between ordering online or buying your AP at the parks. The monthly payment price of the SoCal Select AP is $80 down plus $9.92 per month. The monthly payment price for the SoCal AP (less blockout days than the select) is $80 down plus $15.75 a month. The advertising usually says something along the lines of "With monthly payments starting as low as $9.92 per month" etc., but the price for the regular SoCal AP is more than that of the Select.

One advantage of online would be not having to stand in line if there's a crowd when you go to buy your pass.
