Buying AP and booking

We will be making two trips in the next six months. I am thinking about buying on AP ticket and then booking with an AP discount. I found out how much AP tickets are on the allears site. How would I find out if it would be worth it for me to do this. I keep hearing about AP discounts for August (we are going BEFORE free dining), August 13-18th. Is there someone I can find out how much various rooms would be. We currently ahve a AAA discount at POP, our total package for this is 1317.88 (five nights at POP standard room) and four six day park passes (no hopping), all adults and actually there are three adults in our room as my daughter is 19. Can anyone help me figure this out. Just doing the math on the tickets, it would cost me an additional $254.21 to buy the AP and three six-day passes. What can I save on my room or upgrade to another resort?
