I know when you buy AP's at TDS you get a voucher that you have to redeem once you are in WDW. If I buy the AP's now (2003) but don't plan on using them until 2005, is that allowed? If I buy them now, get the vouchers, use them in 2005, will Disney chargeme the difference if the price goes up? I'd like to be able to use my Disney Club discount while it is still in effect. Any thoughts or experiences? Thank you!!!

Yes, it is allowed and no they will not charge you the difference in price.

Hopefully, you get someone at Guest Relations that knows what they are doing though. We were at AK this past May and the person there swiped the voucher into his machine and when there was a price difference he couldn't figure out how to over ride it. He tried himself for over 30 minutes and then finally went and got somone who had to do something special because the voucher price was less than the current price. It all worked out fine in the end, we were just at guest relations for 45 minutes.

Does anyone know what the price is at the DS for APs with the DC discount? Is there also a discount on a child AP?
Thanks!

to get my AP. She rung it up and when I saw the price ($392.??) I realized I'd forgotten to show my DC card. I told her, but she didn't have any DC APs, so I guess I'll have to order them online.

Anyone else have this problem???? :(

The cost of APs with DC discount is $377 and change.

I don't understand? She didn't have any DC AP;s?? I didn't think there was such a thing. You use a regular AP, like everyone else, and she keys in the code to process the DC discount. It may be different for me, since i was getting the Fl Resident AP's, and using my DC discount. But I just went to the stand, picked up an adult and child APcards, showed her my DC card, and she processed them for us!! Then we activated them when we went to WDW a few months later. I'd maybe check back with the store one more time and see if you get a different Cast Member!! Good Luck!!

goofygal

I did question it and she was the store manager. She went through a bunch of AP vouchers and said she didn't have any DC ones???

This was the store in Emerald Sq. in Attleboro, MA. Maybe I'll try calling and see if I get a different response. Thanks anyway!!!!

The FL stores probably sell more of these than the rest of us. It is infrequest taht we sell them here, and we do not have them on the rack - they are behind the cash wrap in a drawer.

They aren't marked Annual Pass/Disney Club. None of the passes are marked that way anymore. Certain passes still allow the use of the DC discount, and there is a different page in the bin book for those.

travelin' tigger, when you go back to the DS (or call), ask them to check the pages in the "bin book" to see if the pass you want is even offered with the discount. The pages are colored to match the ticket (or voucher, in this case), and if the pass allows for Dc discounts, there will be a seperate page that says "DC" on it.

Good luck! Sorry I don't know for sure if this is offered and I don't go back into work until later this week.

:D

Thanks for your reply. I called another store not TOO far away and she said she did have them in stock so I'll head there after Labor Day!!!! :smooth:

Our Disney Store does not carry any AP vouchers in stock. You have to call them or drop by and tell them how many you need and whether you need DC or regular.

They then order the vouchers and call you when they come in. But yes, you must tell them you need DC discount, as they are on two different stocks and will ring up differently. They cannot apply DC discount to a regular-priced AP voucher.
