Buying Annual Passes at MCO

Has anyone bought annual pass at the Disney stores at Orlando Airport? Any idea how long do these stores stay open? Is it easy to find them? Thanks.

I wasted about an hour and a half at MCO trying to buy AP in December last year. I had a room booked with AP discount and needed one for check-in. I went to both stores because the computer failed in the first one. The CM in the second store was new and needed help, then the computer failed there too. I gave up and went to check-in at the hotel without my AP. The CM there was nice and contacted DTD to see if their computer was OK because I wanted my AP for entry to MK the newt morning. By the time I got to the room and settled children in bed I was too tired to go to DTD to buy AP. If I had to do it again I would just go straight to DTD and get it there.

We will be staying at AKL on AP discount, starting Aug 27th. Is it possible to drive to DTD from the Airport and buy the AP prior to heading to AKL? Is there a ticket needed to enter DTD? May be I buy direct from Disney and have them ship the voucher. someone said it takes 2-3 weeks for that.

There's no charge to enter DTD and there's no charge for parking either. I think this is a great way to get your AP's. The Guest Services office there is great.
