Buying Annual Pass for room discount- question

Hi,
I am interested in booking a room at HRH. I can get a good rate with an annual pass. The pass costs 119.95 plus tax, but the shipping is $15.00. I find this too high! My question: If I order the annual pass and pick the option of window pickup will I get a number that I can use to book my room at the annual pass rate?

$119 for the AP? That might be the annual Power Pass, for that price. I doubt they would let you have a hotel discount with that pass (that pass has no discounts). You may need to use the Preffered Annual Pass, which is about $169.

You can book the hotel for the APH rate and I doubt it would be a problem to check-in, then go get your pass at the park. Just bring along the confirmation email to show the clerk.

They have never asked for our AP number at check-in. They usually just look at the card. I could be wrong.

I already calculated this out. The AP that entitles you to a room discount is 179 plus tax. You almost break even on a 2 night stay at HRH. You get a lot of other discounts with the AP so it is worth it to get 1 pass (we have 4 people), the other 3 are getting the $85 passes.

Yes, just bring the confirmation with you if you do the free pick up instead of the 15 fedex.

2 night Nov 7 @ 179 = 358 (APH)
2 night Nov 7 @ 233 = 466 (AAA)
Purchase 1 annual pass @ 179 or
Purchase 1 regular 2day/2park @ 85

APH total = $537
AAA total = $551

No discount 2 night Nov 7 @ 279 = 558 + 85(ticket to park) = 643

Thanks so much for your help. I didn't realize that there weren't any perks with the annual power pass.

I think I will stick with the AAA rate if we decide to go.

I would get the AP thats $179 plus tax. Renewals are only $99 a year(only if you pay for it outright, if you do the $16 a month). Plus the discounts. 10% off at selected CityWalk restaurants, 15% off at US and IoA restaurants, 20% off mechandise in the theme parks stores (the savings add up fast).
