Buying an iPod in Orlando

Anyone recommend a place to buy an iPod when we visit at Easter. I have seen that there is a Circuit City on South Orange Blossom Trail which sells them. Anyone bought anything there and had good/bad experiences? Anywhere else to try?

DS bought his at the Apple shop in the Mall of Millenia. After he bought it we did see them in another electrical type shop near the Florida Mall, but the price was the same.

It may be worth checking online if there are any shops doing any 'special offers' before you go - saves a lot of travelling between shops. However, I think Apple control the prices quite strictly, so I don't think you will get one much cheaper than in the Apple shop

Forgive me for pointing this out (I'm not an expert in Apples, but an I-Pod is a PDA of some sort, isn't it?) but remember your theoretical limit on purchases is I believe £145 per person.
I've been very tempted to buy expensive items e.g. camcorders etc over the years, but have always been a little worried about customs back in the UK. That said, there is almost never anyone manning customs when we've passed through at Manchester!

Good point - but one that I've always tried to put to the back of my mind on our previous trips - although we haven't bought cameras or anything like that back - just clothes, cosmetics, trainers etc.

In know what you mean about Manchester airport - we haven't seen anyone either there when we've come through - although I always suspect they are watching us all through two-way mirrors!

I have seen others threads where people say that customs are really mainly looking for serious smugglers - drugs, large amounts of tobacco, counterfeit goods etc etc - and that the customs officials are more in force when you return from the Caribbean and Far East etc
