Buying an AP and DDE

Iam coming over in a few weeks time and need to get both an annual pass and the DDE. Is there anywhere I can get both at the same time, say somewhere in DTD?

Go to Guest Relations in Downtown Disney. They will sell you the AP (or PAP).

The only way to get the DDE is to call Disney Dining - you can't get it in person. The CMs at DD will help you call - you'll need your AP number to qualify (assuming you aren't a FL resident). Since you obviously won't be able to get the card via mail before you want to use it, Disney Dining will arrange for you to pick up a temporary card at EPCOT. Believe this will be there after 5:30 pm the day you call (according ot others' reports).

AW! So there IS a way to sign up for the Disney Experience while you're at the parks!
I was wondering too, cause I have already bought my passes for the trip, but was assuming you have to have the real passes to get the discounted rate on the DDE, I have the exchange certs.
I am a Fl res. but would prefer to save the $25 extra that passholders get.

You can wait until you are at WDW with your APs in hand for the discount as we did it. We just called the phone #, signed up over the phone and then had them fax a letter confirming our membership to our resort. I am sure that even if you are not staying onsite that they could fax it to your hotel. They can also email it, but I am guessing that even if someone has their computer, it is unlikely that they'll have a printer.

They are no longer faxing or emailing the temporary letters (apparently they were being abused, somehow). The only way to do this right now is to pick up a temporary card at the front entrance of EPCOT.
