Hi everyone
So i got 4 gift cards for christmas to buy an annual pass with, well, turns out, after 5 calls to Disney, I was told this can only be done when your actually at the parks not over the phone? Does anyone know if this is true, I guess I won't be able to make Fast Pass reservations? Any ideas, I was also told the cards cannot be combined into one.
Thanks

It can be done. Search other threads -- there was one about a week ago and Robo gave the telephone number.

There is an option to combine gift cards. Open a Disney Vacation Account. You will have to do a $10 cash deposit to open it, but then you can load all of your gift cards into the account and use it to purchase your pass over the phone. If agent does not know how to do it, tell them your DVA account number functions as a gift card and they just need to enter it that way or if you look through the DVA information online, they give a number to call. I have purchased an AP this way.

Don't give up!

We had this issue as well when purchasing our tickets. We ended up being able to use all 20 of the gift cards to pay for ours, so it can definitely be done. We had to be sure to call during day hours 9-5 and ask for the ticketing office. I'm not sure how we eventually got to the right person, but it was definitely not talking to the "reservations" line. I hope that helps a little...good luck!

It definitely can be done. But like pp said if you want to avoid calling to find a CM who knows how to do it you can open a Disney Savings Account, deposit the cards and just use the account to pay.

When I had issues in the past over not being able to use multiple cards they had to transfer me to their reservations department where they were able to do it for me.

Yes I got thru to the ticketing office and got a WONDERFUL guy to help me get this done....he seemed to act like there was a problem with the reservations line not clearly understanding this can be done and getting me to the right place...

I have not heard about the Disney Vacation Account yet. I'm off to google that and see if it is something that would work for me to pre-pay some vacation expenses.

The number Robo referenced was (407) 566-4985.

And thanks all for the tip on combining multiple gc's into my DVA, I didn't know that could be done!!
