I have added my tickets online for myself and child . We need one more ticket for her (she's 10 adult price) . The ones I've purchased are all park hoppers but I was thinking of buying a basic ticket for her since magic kingdom will take all day . If I do so can I make sure that ticket is used for a specific day? If so how do I do it?

Is there a reason why you don't want to just add another day to the ticket you purchased for her? It would be cheaper, not to say less confusing than trying to trick the MDE system into using that MK 1-day ticket instead of the hopper ticket on the day that you visit the MK.

Is this for the same child? If so, you just want to add a day to the existing ticket. Did you buy the tickets directly from Disney? Are they part of a package? How many days are on the tickets?

One day MK tickets are the most expensive tickets to buy so if adding another day is an option, it's definitely going to be your best bet.

You need to say if the tickets are part of a resort package. If so, you can add to the ticket before you arrive. If you just bought tickets separately from booking hotel, then you can't upgrade until you arrive at WDW. If your child has less than 10 days on her current ticket, you can add a day for $10.65. Disney max ticket is 10 days.

As the others have stated, what you want to do is add on an additional day to the ticket she currently has. Purchasing a separate 1-day ticket would cost $105 versus a cost of $10 to add an additional park day to an existing ticket.

Adding the Park Hopper option is $60 total for tickets between 4-10 days, so if you already have a ticket for her that is 4 days or more, it won't cost you any more money aside from adding the extra day (which is about $10) and all of the days will still be Park Hoppers including the added day.

Sorry I didn't mention that I didn't buy my tickets through disney. Some were from ebay, relatives and undercover tourist. That's why I was trying to find out how to add another ticket

It doesn't matter as long as you have unused standard Disney tickets ( not complimentary or group or something like that).

You should clarify what you have, where you got them, and what you are trying to accomplish in full.

As a PP said, it doesn't matter where you purchased the tickets as long as they are not previously used. Upgrades, including adding a day, can only be done within 14 days of the first day of use. And if the ticket was purchased prior to 2005, it cannot be upgraded at all.

However, I can understand wanting to add a day before you arrive at the parks so that you can do your FP+ reservations ahead of time. That's going to come at a price and I highly recommend avoiding it if you can. A 1-day ticket to any of the parks is going to cost ~$100. Adding a day to an existing 3- to 9-day ticket once you arrive at the parks will only cost you around $10-$15.

Option 1. On arrival at a park, add a day to her longest ticket $10.65
Option 2. Buy her a one-day ticket for $105
Option 3. Obtain a single-day Magic Kingdom admission from e-bay, relative, etc. at unknown cost
