Buying a small contract?

I’m not a DVC member yet, but thinking about buying a 50 or 75 pt. resale contract to get started. If I did this, and then wanted to buy another 50 points later directly from DVC (perhaps Contemporary), would they sell it to me or would they require that I buy enough to be at the 160 pt. minimum in total? Thanks.

Once you're a member, the rules for add on from Disney are the same. 25 or more if you pay cash and 50 or more to finance. That's what they do now. Who knows if they will change that rule?
