I completely understand how you feel!!

I am a Wilderness Lodge girl through and through. In fact, a couple years ago I booked at the Poly (have only stayed there once when I was a kid... always dreamed about going back) and at the last minute, I switched to the WL. I just love that place!

This trip we are scheduled for the Beach Club and I'm over the moon excited.... but there is a small part of me that wishes I had done a split stay at the WL because I'm going to miss it!

I don't have total buyer's remorse but I'm definitely thinking more about the WL than I should be...

Haven't stayed at either, but plan to someday. I do understand how you may find some remorse by changing from your favorite resort to another one that you don't know much about. My, family however, loves to try out different resorts because each resort is so unique and has different themes. We do have a favorite resort in BC but we are willing to try others before going back (which we do from time to time). I do have to say though, between your choices I don't think you can go wrong with any of them since they are both in the same resort area, however, YC has SAB which you will be able to swim in (our favorite resort pool on property) and Beaches N Cream is right there too. I say keep your reservation at YC and try something new out, who knows you may like it. If not you could always change (if there is availability) or just don't return there on your next trip. That is a great idea , and I forgot to mention it (I would think about doing this before changing back your reservation). Doing split stays are so easy...you get the best of both worlds and Disney makes it so easy for you and handles your baggage for you so you don't have to worry. Great idea PP .

I have total buyer's remorse about the Poly. Hopefully once we get there, I won't feel that way, because I've always wanted to stay there, even for our honeymoon. That said... we paid rack rate for the room because we were getting free dining, and it was on the monorail loop, and I'm pregnant and we thought it'd be easier than waiting for buses, and it's supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip, yada yada. Then I upgraded to CL because DH loves CL... then I downgraded CL and upgraded dining... Blah. I'm a moderate girl at heart. Coronado Springs FTW! The deluxes are nice but the cost, yegads, I can think of SO many things I could spend the money on instead, and I really like some of the mods!! DH is getting excited about the deluxe now though, so I can't really downgrade. I'm sure we'll love it, but I just see little dollar bills floating around, off into the void...

I can definitely relate. We always stayed at CSR and loved it until my DW said "if we are going to go to Disney every year I want to stay at a Deluxe resort". The cost didn't make sense to me but I said okay to keep her coming with the kids and I. Now after 5 straight trips to the Poly you can see that I am hooked. I would love to try either the YC or BC for the pool but the convenience of jumping on the monorail and heading over to the MK is just too strong a draw.
