Buy Wal-Mart giftcards to get Wal-Mart giftcards?

I got an email today that says you can now redeem MyPoints for Wal-Mart giftcards. If I actually get the credit for the other giftcard I bought online, I'd almost have enough points to get a giftcard from the two that I bought. You need 1,400 points for a $10 card.

I probably won't use my points to get a Wal-Mart card, but just thought it was interesting.

I did something similar to get the 500 walmart points from the email I got a few days ago. I bought a $20 ecard, and then, with that, I bought $20 in plastic giftcards. And I got the 500 points - I think from the ecard, not from the purchase of the plastic giftcards. There is a small shipping fee (less than $2.50).
