Just bought $450US for $444.11 at TD. I have the borderless rate with my US account. If you keep $3000. in the US account it is free and you get the US Visa for free. Considering how little interest anyone is paying I choose to put it in a US account and get the benefits. The savings over the year on buying US$ is more than any conservative investment will pay today.

I got $300 USD for $298.05 Canadian. May have to buy more USD.

I decided to pay off my Disney balance payment instead of waiting until July with the great rate of exchange. You never know which way the rate is going to go by then.

My Canadian payment on my Visa was $4 less that the Disney balance.
