Buy tickets through Florida friend

My best friend lives in Tampa. Here's my question, I konw you have to show proof o residencey to buy those tickets, but do you have to show anything to use them? Are they marked Fla resident or are they the same as anyone else's? It sure would save me some$$$$$

We are always asked for ID when we activate the passes at guest relations. Unless you have something with your name on it that shows Florida residency, I don't think you would be able to use them.

When my folks went they were asked at the park entrance/activation point for proof of residency. License or utility bill with their name on it.

We have had to show proof when we purchased them at disney, and but when we purchased online you don't really need proof to buy them, because you are actually sent vouchers, and then you show proof when you activate them in the parks. We have also had to show ID's occasionaly over the years when the figer scan didn't work for whatever reason. And yes, they are labeled FL resident.

FYI - even if the ticket itself doesn't say FL resident on it (which I'm pretty sure they all do), the computer screen in the turnstyle will read the ticket and show "FL resident ticket" in the screen. They may let you right thru but if it doesn't for any reason, they will I.D. you.
