Buy park tickets now or later?

I'm hoping someone out there can answer this question for me...do I save
any money by buying our park tickets in advance when I book the room over just buying them at the entrance to the parks? Can I add parkhopper if we decide we need it if I buy the tickets at the parks? Does this question even make sense? thanks.

If you're buying through Disney, the price is the same either way.

You can add PH at any time while you're there - it's a flat $52 (ish) no matter how many days are on your tix.
