Buy magic band upgrades

I’ve been looking and I can’t find the answer, so here goes. We have a trip booked for next June. Friday I was looking at the magic banks upgrades. There’s 3 of us going, and I saw bands that 2 of us wanted. So I thought I ordered them. I came back to check yesterday to see if there was anything new the third person might like, but it’s not showing the two I ordered, and they aren’t available anymore. Since we are so far out from the trip, I didn’t know, since I “ordered” theM are they just going to be shipped to me like a regular purchase and I just need to link them once they come? If not, do I need to order all 3 at the same time time? I don’t want to buy different bands today only to have the first ones show up. I can’t see that I’ve been charged for them, but I thought I completed the order process.

I don't know about the order you placed (whether it went through or not) but I do believe you have to order all of them at once. You can't do 2 one day and the third another day. It's one of the things that's been frustrating a lot of people because the options change every day and finding the right combo is nearly impossible.

Did you actually complete the order?

If you ordered, you would have entered your CC information and would have a pending charge. In order to complete any order for MagicBands, you MUST select a band (either free or paid upgrade) for everyone on the reservation. If you don't, the order is not complete and the selected bands won't be "held" for later.

Ok. I didn’t order the third person’s band. But I selected to charge to the cc on file and I thought it had gone through.

I, personally, would not order until all 3 MB's that you like are available. I made the mistake on our July trip of FINALLY finding premium MB's that 3 out of 4 of us liked. I thought I could buy those and then go back in and order the 4th when one became available that I liked. Nope, we ended up with 3 premium bands and one solid band and there was no way to re-do the order once it was placed.

It just stinks cause there only seems to be a half dozen or so available at any given time so finding 3 that we all like at the same time is difficult, but I would have gotten the third band if I had known. But at least I have plenty of time to stalk the bands and hope I can find the ones we wanted again

If you were actually able to successfully order 2 out of 3 bands that you wanted take it as a win. Their site is terrible.
