We have reservations for BBB in MK for my 5-year-old daughter on January 1st. We live in CA and also are Signature Passholders for Disneyland. My daughter and I recently went into the BBB in DL and saw this Ariel bridal dress and she fell in love. I told my husband that I think we should purchase it here in CA and bring it with us to FL when we go on our trip. Mainly because we can use the 20% off with our passes and it will be $80 instead of $100, and because I'm worried they may not have this exact dress in a 5/6 when we go in January as it will be a very busy time. My husband thinks it will be annoying to have to transport the dress while we fly across the country (it's a pretty full dress and may get fairly wrinkled.) Plus, he thinks it will be available in January and $20 extra is worth the hassle of not transporting it.

Any tips or advice? Do you think we should get it here for 20% off or do you think it will most likely be available in FL in her size? We were most likely planning to get her the "Castle Package" for $200 to include a dress, so I feel like if we get this dress early we could get the "Courtyard Package" for $110 and save a bit of money. Plus, I'm not even sure if this Ariel bridal dress is included in the Castle Package as it's a much nicer dress.

That is a beautiful dress. Personally, if that is the dress she wants & they have her size, I would not chance getting to WDW & BBB not having it.

DD is now 13, so she aged out of BBB (last summer was her last time there.) We always purchased her choice of dress at home & brought it with us (we drive from NY so packing is not an issue). Last summer, BBB did not have a size in any dress that fit her (she is very tall & would need a size 14/16), so we purchased an adult size Minnie Mouse skirt & top on Main Street.

If that's the dress she truly wants, bring it. There are no guarantees that Disney World will have the size you need, when you need it. Especially during the holiday season.

I'd buy the dress at home for sure. You'll figure out transport (rolling might work). They have nice changing rooms and its very common to bring a dress from home, so no worries on that front either.

I too don't think those specialty dresses are included in the package.

It's a beautiful dress - she's a lucky girl!

I didn't realize they had changing rooms. Thank for the tip! And she IS super lucky!
