Buy AIRFARE now or hope for something better?

Opinions all... we are playing the waiting game to our WDW trip at end of April 2002 (April 28-May 6). I just snagged 4 tix for my sister and her family from Philly to MCO for $125 pp/round trip for that time frame. Am now looking for 5 tix for my family from Rochester, NY area (or Buffalo). Tickets have been holding steady at $190 (and that's Midway Airlines). Should I buy them now, or do any of you think they will go lower prior to our travel dates? I checked with the airlines to see if I buy now, can I get a refund later if prices are reduced. Airline rep told me that the airline would charge me a $100 change fee per ticket, probably wouldn't be worth it since it's highly unlikely there'd be that much of a drop in ticket price--and it would have to be more than $100 drop in order for me to justify the change. Plus, with spring break occuring just prior to our trip, I don't know if they'd go down anyway....
Also: are there better times of the day/week to look for reduced ticket prices? And I am using expedia.com, are there other sites which might provide more discounted prices? Any help is greatly appreciated!

if the flights stay the same and the fare drops on what you are holding then there should be no change fee. but if you change your flights then yes you will be subjected to the change fee and its not worth it. personally I would hold off but thats me. some people have to buy their tkts asap. I wait until I know I cannot get a lower fare. then I buy.

I am looking for tickets from Philly to MCO around that same time but still haven't found any as cheap at $125. Could you please tell me which airline is offering this fare? I check everyday and must have missed this one.

I got my tickets last week, on a Wednesday afternoon(I don't know if thats a better day for cheap tickets or not). They are flying on Delta and making one connection in Atlanta, then on to MCO. Flight is a 9:40 a.m. departure from PHL, and eventually arrives in MCO at 2:30 pm. The $125 price was only available for about 3 hours, when I checked again at dinnertime it was gone and I was glad I got 'em!

Got my Feb. tix last week, might have paid a bit more than necessary but got exact dates and easy flight times (no more 6:30am departures for us!), also got direct flights. It all depends what is important to you. Sometimes price is paramount for us, but this time it was travel ease. By getting the flights we wanted we can squeeze half day activities onto our travel days which is cost efficient too.
