Buy $89 passes or wait for package deal

I've been to WDW twice, and I've done the room, tickets, and dining plan all in one both times. I definitely want to go to Universal in 2010 when they open Harry Potter World. And I want to stay in a Universal hotel (only 3 right?) to get the front of the line passes. Do you have to buy tickets to get this deal (like WDW when you have to buy a one day base ticket for dining plan), or can I go ahead and buy the $89 for a week tickets and put them up until we go?

As of today, AAA still has them for $79.99...in Pennsylvania...no expiration dates...If you can handle the expense now, I would buy them now...
