Ugg, This is new...right??? Last year I was able to get this deal, but only had to buy one day passes. I guess this will not be an especially good deal for those of us who don't want to fork out the extra for the length of stay ticket since we've already purchased AP's for the year. I know we can use it towards next year's AP but I want to save $$$ this year. Guess the AP rate will still be my best bet.
Wish it was running until May![]()

Details are still being worked out, but weve heard from multiple, usually-reliable sources that Disneys Buy-4-Get-7 deal will return next week. The announcement may be made as early as Monday, but could be as late as Thursday. Value resorts will have a slightly different Buy-5-Get-2″ deal. Travel dates, we hear, could be Ocotber 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Book by December 20, 2009 (we think thatll be extended). And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, in particular the announcement dates
I love the take it with a grain of salt, but I hope its right, we are starting to plan our next trip, July 2010, to the world, and if a 4/3 deal is extended throught july like this past year, we could afford a longer stay or higher level resort![]()

Wow, if this ends up being true then it'll be a real slap in the face to AP holders.

I have a feeling that they have it figured out so that it will be the same %age savings as the AP rate. This seems to be to be the trend don't you think? The $200 Gift Card was the only thing that made the 4/3 deal a slightly better value than the AP rate last year...for the mods anyway which is what I booked.
The part that will be a slap in the face to AP holders is the part about having to get tickets for the entire length of stay in order to get the deal. Right now, AP holders typically get 1 day passes to save money on package deals.
I don't know what the AP rates will be like at that same time or how they historically compare. I do hope that for AP holders Disney does give an AP discount that is comparable. I'm not an AP holder so it doesn't make a difference to me, but I do feel that it's the right thing to do for people who go more often like AP holders tend to do.
Personally, I don't know that I'll ever get an AP just because it seems like all the deals that interest me involve packages so I'll always have to buy the MYW tickets anyway.
