Butterfly/ Balloon Release

I have a friend who wants to release balloons for her daughter when she is in Disney in October. She was told if she releases more than 10, they have to be biodegradible(sp?). Is there anywhere to get that type of balloons and if so, what do you do about strings? She also thought if this was too difficult to do, she could do a buttterfly release but doesn't know where to begin. Anyone out there done anything like this? We'd appreciate your input!!! TIA...

just responded to your friend's post. I would first start by making sure that Disney will let her through the gates with 157 butterflies. Nothing would make the day worse than if she got to the gate and they wouldn't let her in. Balloons are trickier. I would stick with the butterflies if they will allow it. Or maybe do it at the hotel.
