The first true butterlies I experienced was when I got married. Driving down that road to the church, seeing all the cars, gave me an 'other worldly' feeling, something I had never experienced before.
Once a friend (a professor at a college) asked me to speak about marriage in one of his classes. I never knew I could be so nervous!
And then today, I had to advocate for my sweet foster daughter concerning her future. Although I am older and way more experienced, I felt those 'butterflies', something I haven't sensed in a long, long time.
What about you, what gives you 'butterflies'?
