Butter packets refrigerated?

The butter packets like they have at saladworks. Do they need to be refrigerated. We have the whipped butter and the land o lakes butter packets we are thinking if bringing with us.

Butter tends to turn to liquid in the FL heat.

I've never heard of a butter or butter substitute that did not need refrigeration. You don't say how you are traveling. If you will have refrigeration, use it.
