Yuck...just took my temperature...102!

I have not been sick in years. I thought being a mommy meant you were immune so you could take care of everyone else!

I get sick more than my son. He is just the "carrier" of the germs from school.

I'm sorry to hear you have to spend your weekend sick :guilty: . Hopefully you can just sit in front of the TV all weekend and rest.

UGH!! Hope you feel better today, FT. Try to rest, the best thing for you.

I've been sick a lot this winter, especially in the last month. I had what I think was the flu several weeks ago (I wasn't tested since I'd had the flu shot this winter, but my 12yo tested positive a few days later and I had all the symptoms and was miserable), then have been sick this week with a couple of different viruses, not to mention the normal colds. Now I'm entering spring allergy season. I'm not enjoying myself, to put it mildly. Then toss in my chronic migraines and peri-menopause (possibly related) and I'm :furious: I have a temper and I'm not afraid to use it is my new motto! :teeth:

I hope that you don't have the flu! What are your other symptoms? Is so, you can get tested within the first 48 hours (I think it's 48 hours--it's real early on) and get on Tamiflu, which seemed to really help my son, even though there is some discussion as to how helpful it is with the flu.

:rotfl2: No, Mommy just means you have to ACT like you are not sick. you still have to do your mommy duties, while everyone else gets to be whiney when they are sick! :rotfl2:
