We are currently in the ROFR wait, but are considering jumping on a 50% off airfare deal for Oct 31-Nov. 6 (would to to go to F &W). Is this usually a busy DVC time? I wouldn't care where we stayed as long as it was a studio or a one bedroom. Is it unrealistic to think we could get a reservation if we couldn't book until next month? Thanks :)

It's a very busy time for DVC. If there is no availability for DVC at that time you could book a cash reservation at Pop or another hotel and cancel if something becomes available. At least you'll have someplace to stay if you get a great deal on airfare.

Yes, this is a very busy time for DVC. While nothing is impossible, I think you will have difficulty and I would not count on things. However, if you are willing to move resorts, you will have better luck.

And just a reminder to everyone, that checking and then posting specific availability is not allowed.

Thank you in advance!

Very busy. Your 50% airfare savings might mean what is saved goes towards paying for a room somewhere either for part or all of the stay. Just be prepared for the possibility. Or it might involve many moves to different resorts.

DVC is probably pretty much booked up from Oct 1 to mid-January right now. The soonest you'd be able to find several days together is probably middle of January. And then you are going to be running into MLK holiday.
