I've been just a little busy around here and it's all my own fault LOL

I decided to put ALL my photos on discs before the new baby comes along and since my son was born before I went digital I had and have to scan many many many years of photos.

Most photos from 2004 are on my external hard drive but for some reason some photos are missing so I then have to go find a real live photo album and rescan the photos into the computer. I also have pictures that were taken in water with water cameras that I need to scan and a put in the proper place before burning a disc.

The good news is every school photo ever taken is now on discs (from Prek-3 to Grade 4).
I finished years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007.

I decided to give each Disney trip (10) and Disney Cruise (2) their own discs so I still have to do all of that.

I ran out of patience for sitting at the computer and plastic covers for the discs so I think I might go scrapping for a bit. hOpefully, I get something done....

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday.

Wow, you have a major job in front of you! I've never got round to scanning in non-digital photos (though some I had put onto discs at the same time as they were printed) but once I started scrapping I pulled all my "bad" photo albums apart and made proper scrapbooks for both boys - they were 5 and 11 at the time:scared1:

Good for you!!! That takes a lot of patience - more than I have many days.

When I first started to scrap (non-digital photos) I use to get doubles of ALL prints. I would scrap 1 set and put the other set in a sleeved photo albums. A couple years after I got my digital camera I finally started to only print out what I needed and left everything on the external hard-drive. I don't know if I got smarter or just went cheaper LOL

So far every scrapbook I made I only needed 1 (1 child) now I have to figure out how to scrap for 2 kids LOL

I have been thinking about scanning all the photos I took of me and hubby way before I went digital so my kids have photos of us just in case something happens to the photos (they are in those sticky old photo albums) but first things first. All photos since Zach has been born first then work backwards.

That's so awesome! I need to do something like that, but I am horrible at having the patience to do it! Way to go!!

I did re-do our (non-official) wedding album and honeymoon album into a proper scrapbook, and did a small scrapbook covering our "courtship";) - from meeting to wedding - but I have numerous albums both before and after we met (and they need doing as I've found pics already fading:scared1:). Just need to move some furniture so I can pull them out:rolleyes1

Mike (dh) has been very good he takes my son swimming, plays WII, Ds or anything else to occupy Zach's time so I can do what I have to do.
Mike (dh) knows I want to get everything out of the way for Zach so I am not behind with his stuff when the baby comes.

So far I've put everyday/holiday photos on CD's for
2001 (before digital), 2002 (before digital), 2003 (before digital), 2004 (before digital), 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009

Completed Disney trips and Disney cruises
2006 cruise, 2006 trip, 2007 cruise and 2007 trip

I still need to do everyday/holiday photos for 2005, 2010 and 2011
Since 2010 and 2011 are on the computer they shouldn't take any time to do.
For some strange reason Thinksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for 2005 are MISSING. I can't find them anywhere not even the photos albums.

Disney trips
2002 trip (before digital), 2004 trip (before digital), April 2005 trip, Sept 2005 trip (lost half of my photos off the computer so I need to scan like 300), , 2008 trip, 2009 trip and 2010 trip.

2008, 2009 and 2010 trips are on the computer but need to be organized so they shouldn't take all that long either.

PLUS I'm only 8 pages away from hitting my 31 page goal for the month.

Tomorrow I'm taking a break. Going to play water balloons with my nephews LOL
