Busses today

The cynic in me says it's on purpose so people will pay for the express bus services between the parks. In reality, it's probably just due to Christmas crowds.

The bolded doesn't make sense though. You have to get people TO a park before they can use the express service.

Yeah, but they will wait because what else will they do? You spend thousands to go to Disney, you are waiting at the bus stop for a bus for a long time. Most will wait until the bus comes to take them to the parks, they may be irritated at the lengthy wait, but what else would you do? Sure, some may call uber or a taxi, but the majority will wait. Once you get to the park and want to hop over to Epcot, you get memories of the long wait in the morning and irritated all the lost park time. So what do you do? Pay for express service.

If the regular busses were quick, fast and efficient, you would forgo the express and go take the free bus. Again, just the cynic in me. I know it's not really true.
