How hard are they to come by? I mean I know they are there but are they easy to use and is there a long wait for them? I am asking about Animal Kingdom Villas specifically. Thanks!

Busses are supposed to depart approximately every 20 minutes. This applies property wide.

Same as any other resort. AKL/AKV has their own bus, with 2 stops - Kidani and Jambo (except for Downtown Disney, then it's Jambo and Kidani).

We spent 10 days at AKL/Jambo last August. Wait for buses at the resort and at the parks was always short. Hakuna Matata.

buses can also be late for one reason or another. this also applies property-wide.

i've generally had great experiences with the buses but it is one of the risks you take. if you are a type-A personality, you might want to drive yourself...

You cannot say that any bus system at WDW is all that great, However, my personal experience, having stayed at many resorts, is that AKL's is better than most, and BWV's is the worst in the universe.

We're DL folks so were very nervous about using the bus system at WDW. It turned out to be super easy and convenient. We just allowed for the travel time and treated it like any transit system. Sometimes they were late but not always.

We stayed at BWV last visit and PO before that. Never had a problem either time. In fact, I was very impressed to see that twice a bus, that wasn't ours, stopped to pick us up. They may have been for another resort but did a special trip for us. Anything to clear the queues I guess. Both times were at closing and we were the only ones waiting for our resort.
