Busses from Disney Springs to Parks

Do busses run to and from Disney Springs and the various parks? Or do they only go from the resorts?

They do not. Resorts only.

What I do is take a bus to say to one of the Epcot resorts where you can get to Epcot easily and can take the Monorail to MK if you want.

If I wanted to take the time to use DS as my jumping off point (presumably for free parking) then I'd take the bus to a resort that's near my desired park, followed by transportation from that resort to the park. But all in all that seems like a major waste of time, especially since buses from DS to the resorts don't start running until what, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 AM?

No. You will have to connect through a resort if you want to use Disney Transport buses to get to the parks.

Requires EPCOT admission long walk through EPCOT, a hopper ticket and subject to hopper rules.

The bus from DS to the MK goes to the Contemporary. A short walk from the Contemporary to the MK.

Walk from DS to SSR. Take bus SSR direct to any theme park.

If you're at Disney Springs and want to get to the parks, you'll need to go to a resort - at least 3 of the theme parks can be easily accessed from certain resorts - only AK will require transferring to a second bus. To get to MK, take the Contemporary bus if you just want to walk over to MK...or the Poly, Grand Floridian, or WIlderness Lodge if you want to take a boat or monorail there. To get to Epcot, take the Beach/Yacht or Boardwalk bus, and just walk to Epcot from there (or take the boat if you don't want to walk). You can also get there by bussing to Riviera and taking the Skyliner. For DHS, the Boardwalk bus is easiest to just walk to DHS - or Beach/Yacht/Boardwalk to take the boat.

Same thing getting TO Disney Springs from a theme park - the easiest would be to bus to Saratoga Springs, get off at the Congress Park stop (#4), and walk over to DS. Or if in MK, you would walk over to Contemporary and take their DS bus, from Epcot you would walk to Beach and take their DS bus, or from DHS, you could walk or boat to Boardwalk and take their DS bus.

I'd be VERY careful of parking at Disney Springs to try and get to the parks. Disney Springs has recently instituted a HARD close at 11pm. Meaning no bus is to pick-up any passengers after that point (including if the bus will arrive back at DS after 11pm)

This is because the new security station shuts down and no one is allowed in. Period.

There have been many instances of guests being stranded after parties, either having to pay for taxi's or rideshares and their accompanying surge rates. In this situation, the guests can only being dropped in the parking garages.
