Busses at POFQ

Silly question. We have never been to WDW. Are there different busses for different destinations? ex. Do we look for the bus for MK when we want to go there or will we be making other stops to other destinations before getting to the park we want to enjoy?

Also, where is the bus stop at POFQ?

You all are great. Thanks for helping me plan the perfect trip.

The bus stop for POFQ is located near the main building/entrance. All destinations are clearly marked on the bus as it arrives at the stop. The bus will usually make several stops at POR before going to the parks or Downtown Disney.

The bus stop at PO-FQ is just to your right after leaving the doors to the lobbby entrance. There are two platforms where different buses stop. There will be signs at the platform to tell you which parks are serviced by that stop. The buses will have a sign over their front windshield to tell you to which park/destination that that particular bus goes. Sometimes the bus will continue on to Dixie Landings (OOPS: Port Orleans-Riverside) to do a pickup at that resort. Sometimes it won't. I think that depends on how full the bus is. But the good thing about PO-FQ is that the bus will always stop at PO-FQ first. Hope this helps, We love PO-FQ and hope to be back in May.

FQ and Riverside share a bus. When we were there in December, each resort had thier own bus from MK. Usually there was a shared bus going there. I think it depended on the time of day. If it was "rush hour" in the am, the bus just picked up at FQ and went straight to MK.

We didn't have to many problems waited for buses except one night at Epcot. We left before fireworks and a lot of CBR and POP buses went by and we waited about half and hour. That was the worst wait we had.

Here's a silly question. Do people politely line up for the bus at POFQ, or is it a shove fest to get in? I would hate to have to resort to those tactics. Want to keep up my polite image with my 2 DS's  .

FQ has two depots at the main bus stop. The first depot (closest to lobby) is where the Epcot, Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom buses will stop. The second one is where Magic Kingdom and the Disney MGM Studios bus will stop. There will be signs that will point you to where you should go.

Also, each bus features a bright orange LED destination sign on the front and side of the bus to let you know where it is going. MAKE SURE TO READ THE SIGN ON THE BUS. If it doesn't say it, it doesn't go there.

From what I've seen at the resorts, not much of a polite line. Very often people who were at the stop first are not the first on the bus, especially if you opt to sit on one of the benches to wait.

Leaving the parks is much better, as they have an organized queue (can't think if that is the exact word I'm looking for.. but it is the lines with rails that you go through, first one direction, then the other).

I have not stayed at POFQ, but at other resorts I have never seen pushing or shoving. Unfortunately though, there is not a line, and people just crowd up towards the bus door and sometimes "cut off" others who were waiting. I think sometimes it is intentional, but it is hard to know what order people had arrived.
