Busses at BC????

How is the bus service to MK, AK, TL, etc. from the Beach Club?

This was our only complaint while staying at the BC. The bus service to MK was absolutlely horrible every single time! Never took it to TL or AK, but MK was well over an hour. While waiting at MK for the bus to return, we would see 3 and 4 busses for the other resorts before a BC bus would arrive. They also share busses with other resorts. I believe the BC is the last stop.

I took a bus from MK to BC/BCV on our last trip in Feb/March. It was very fast. I waited about 2 minutes for the bus I think and I was the first rider at the stop.

The bus only went to the YC before dropping us off at the BC/BCV.

From walking up to the stop to arriving at the hotel was 18 minutes as I recall. My husband and DS2 came back via our rental car sometime after me and we decided that the bus was much faster.

In the past, our limited experience with the bus from BC was similar to johnnyr. This is a wonderful improvement for Y&BC and Villas.

So does this mean that the BC bus only services YC/BC/BCV? It doesn't go to swan/dolphin and BW anymore? That would be great!

I don't know for sure but that is what has been reported on the DVC boards. I only rode the bus once this past trip but that was my experience. It was great.

Depending on the time of day, and where you are going, the bus could do all the resorts (e.g. DTD). In the mornings going to the parks, the busses would only stop at YC/BC/BCV, but during mid day, the bus may do all of the resorts.

As Tyler says, the busses are dynamic.

I took a bus the other day from MK to BC. Bus arrives as I walked up and I was off in just a few minutes. (would have been faster, but one family had one of those super duper deluxe strollers and could not for the life of them figure out how to close the thing)
