how is bus service for POFQ?we are gonna do MGM and AK,and DTD at night.ANy idea of transit time?do i need to get to bus stop SUPER EARLY?,,we also always stay until close...will we be able to get back"home",,,,and is there a boat that goes to DTD?TIA

the bus service is great - you are the first pickup and then the bus will either go directly to the park, or also pick up at PO Riverside. Not sure of the times, but it's not long to any of the parks.
Disney will always get you back home after closing

and yes there is a boat to DTD.

The busses run smoothly here usually. Keep in mind that I have heard complaints on bus service at every resort. I have never had a problem with bus service at Disney other than one time. POFQ is the first stop. The bus then goes over to POR for a quick trip around all the depots there to pick up passengers. This does not take long. Your longest park ride will be to AK. MK is extremely quick to get to it seems from POFQ. The boat ride from POFQ to DTD is very relaxing but slow. It is something you will want to do. The wait for the boat can be long. The boat picks up at POR first. I guess that is where guests at POR get back at guests at POFQ huh?

Stayed there twice, and had good experiences both times. Short waits and you are the first stop so you get a seat in the morning and first at night so you get dropped off first.

Bus service is GREAT to all parks. Like someone else said..POFQ is the first to be picked up and the first to be dropped off. GREAT perk. My suggestion is take the boat from POFQ to DTD. It's just a very nice and relaxing trip and it gives you a little break from the busses. Have a great vacation!!

We go in Dec. and have never had a boat pick up at POR first, they have always had their own boat and POFQ has had their own boat.

If you get on the boat to go to DTD at POFQ and it is on it's way to POR then you have to get off the boat at POR and reboard, it will then stop again at POFQ to go to DTD, at least that is what the sign says, have not experienced this actually happening since we got on at POFQ on the return trip, late afternoon, not busy at all.
Be warned that when returning from the parks the wait for the bus was usually quite long, on the evening of EMH at Epcot we waited through 6 PO busses before we got on, we left the park at 10:30, I am sure the wait when the park closed was huge!! Everyone was pretty good natured about the whole thing and that makes a big difference when your waiting...

I didn't mind the bus stop at POFQ. I was there last year during July 4th so I guess it was one of the busier times of the year.

We started early at the parks. We would walk to the bus stop and within 5 to 10 minutes a bus was there. I didn't have any complaints about that. We never were unable to get on the first bus that arrived and most of the time we got to sit; other times we stood, it really didn't matter to me.

Going home was a bit of a different story. But at the same time, all the resort busses were crowded. The only time I didn't like loading buses was for TL. It started to rain so a bunch of people left the park. Well a bus for TL arrived with a mom and a little girl on it. Mom started to get off the bus and someone told her that everything in TL was closed...Mom turned around to stay on the bus and some guy starts yelling at her. He said she had her turn and she should get to the end of the line...He was getting really heated. That turned me off, and the bus driver didn't say anything.

Anyway, I'm at peace with the crowds and I don't like pushing so we kind of hang around in the back until things clear up. Really, if everyone were capable of just standing in line like adults and waiting their turn for everything the bus congestion wouldn't be a problem.

Another good thing about POFQ busses...You're the first to be picked up and the first dropped off.
