has anyone used the busses at Pop Century during April vacation/Easter week? are they packed??? or do you think they increase the number of busses to help with the crowds? just trying to decide if we should rent a car! Thanks!! :goodvibes

::MickeyMo :rotfl: That was really funny!

We found the buses at the Pop Century to be very busy, even though it wasn't a peak season. It's a big resort with 1 bus stop. Not a very good equation. ::MinnieMo

I have to say that we just stayed at Pop and the bus service was awesome. It is very busy but there seemed to be more buses than some of the other resorts. After MNSSHP and Wishes, the line-up was huge but buses came more frequently and it moved fast.

Disclaimer: This was in October not Easter.

::MickeyMo That sounds hopeful at least. Our bus service in May was awful. We waited longer for buses than for any of the attractions, believe it or not. The line from Epcot was huge and buses, sometimes 2 at a time were continually running, but we still wound up waiting about 45 minutes. Which was definitely ridiculous. ::MinnieMo

There are long lines, and not enough buses running at this resort. I rented a car when I stayed there last September, and it was not even peak season. The worst is the line at the Magic Kingdom when the park closes. I found it was easier to rent a car, or park at Boardwalk and use the bus for the Magic Kingdom. If you go to Epcot, you can still park at Boardwalk and walk over to Epcot. It is not far, and it gives you a chance to see some of the offerings down at Boardwalk. I usually eat at one of the restaurants there before I go over to Epcot. I found that the other parks are not that bad with the buses, just the Magic Kingdom. I also drive to Downtown Disney. It's easier when you are shopping, and you don't have to lug all those bags around. Keep in mind the Pop Century has the most rooms and literally thousands of guests. I only stayed there once, and was glad I had a car.

DD and I did POP the week after Easter week and it was really managable!

I did the week of Easter and a week in September - both at POP. Could not tell enough of a difference to even think about it. They are always busy, but very manageable. Expect huge lines after any of the nighttime programs.

Buses were awful for us last June!! I am driving 16 1/2 hours to avoid them next Christmas!

I do not recommend the buses for anyone with young children especially!

Long story short...My lil ones had to stand a lot (so did we)

Drivers took off fast and slammed on there breaks.

It was to much with a stroller.

Had to add this...

Think about 90 degrees and sweating with 50 people in a bus and the driver DOSENT have the A/C ON!! This DID happen more than once last June 2005.

well, I totally get that it'll be crazy after Wishes, etc...but 45 MINUTES?!?! That is ridiculous....was that wait just any random time, or just after the big fireworks?

We stayed at PC during our Easter trip in 2004.

We never had to wait long for a bus. Most mornings we stood, because we didn't want to step aside and wait for the next bus. :cheer2:

When the parks closed, the lines were huge, but moved fast. The buses came two at a time to take us back to the resort.

The only people standing in the evenings were the ones that did not want to wait for the next set of buses to pull up. :confused3
