This was actually on the agenda at our town's selectboard meeting. Evidently there had been many complaints from regarding the town's 2 taxi companies. The owners were told to attend the meeting. The selectboard read the complaints - one was that a driver had made a pit stop at his home during a paid ride to change clothes and get himself something to eat! Another complaint was that during a ride the driver told the passenger he was too tired to complete the drive, and would she drive him! What's even funnier is the fact that these 2 taxi companies are supposedly in a "fierce competition" with each other- although I'm not sure what the competition is for, maybe how to lose customers the fastest
