We are planning atrip 1st wk of June and I wanted to know which park would be busier on a Saturday, LegoLand or USH? I believe that LegoLand is farther so traffic-wise which one should we visit on the weekend? Thanks.

First week of June might be hot, I would pick Legoland just for the ocean breezes. Universal is more crowded but is a different kind of park with shorter lines generally because people are at the stunt shows, the food courts, the Lucy museum or riding the tram tour instead of all standing in line at once.
Sat is a good day to travel whatever park you pick, the traffic is half what it is on weekdays.

last year we went to universal on a saturday in june, traffic was a breeze going there early in the morning but coming back was a little bit of a pain, took over an hour to get back to anaheim. lines weren't that bad at all, the longest line was like 25 min for back to the future, 20 min for the mummy, and 15 for jurassic park. i think we waited in line longer for food then any of the rides.

We were in legoland on Saturday and the longest we queued was about 10 minutes. We were there for just after opening and went and did all the slow loading rides in funtown first and walked onto everything. We avoided Jungle cruise which had a 45 minute wait time ( it is the first ride you get to), but went back at the end of the day when we only had a 10 minute wait. My DS6 and DD4 absolutely loved it. We were driving from San Diego and the traffic was fine, and after we were driving up to LAX and had no traffic holdups at all.
