so..Bush couldve built a huge wall so the hurricane couldnt hit Louisiana?..no, the people in the gulf coast had plenty of warnings to leave before the hurricane hit. It was the peoples decision to stay while the hurricane came ashore.

Actually, It was their governer. Bush told him that they should evactuate, but the governer was like what ever. So the evacuation wasnt Bush's fault. But after the fact he handled it completely wrong.

It still comes back to Bush with the New Orleans thing at least. Those levees were not built to stop a CAT. 5 hurricane, and he knew that. With a growing number of more powerful hurricanes, he could have put money in to build stronger levees. Sure, blame whatever organization for not building them strong in the first place, but still. He could of, and should of spent money on strengthening those levees, but no. We just had to go off and fight some war.

One thing I don't like about Bush is that he's trying to save the world, without looking in his own back yard.

They were expecting a cat 5 at least a day in advance. I know that is what they were warning us for here. The gov. is to blame for not evacuating, but bush is to blame for leaving people on rooftops.

They should have strengthened those levees as soon as Andrew was over. Actually they should have strengthened them after Camile (sp).

And I dont know about you, but I have been through alot of things in the past 15 years. And it has it has been a pretty long time since I've been 2. And btw, Im not measuring how long it is, by how fast it went, I'm measuring it, by how much has happened. there is deffinately a difference
