I'll elucidate. The paper balloting system was quite confusing for many people; if you didn't do JUST the right thing, it would go to another person.

Just thought I'd put my opinion.

Okay, the voting based on religion is totally irrelevant to the ability of the person to run a country. I'm not just talking to people here on the Dis, but everywhere in this country.

I really don't like Bush. I don't pay much attention to elections, and I'm horrible at politics, but the way Bush has run this country has been horrible. I hope the next president can help this country out of the rut it's in.

I saw this thing on Mad TV and it showed how Bush handled 9/11 and then it showed Kerry how he would of handled it if he was the president it was soooo funny..

I just don't like how people complain about him taking so long to address it. You know what, he finished up what he was doing, and went to work. It wasn't like the second plane wouldn't have hit if he suddenly ran out of the classroom and started addressing the problem.

Not to mention, what would you want him to do? It's not like he could have jumped into his personal fighter jet, flew over to Afganistan, and started shooting the terrorists.

um..Kerry wasnt even running for president when 9/11 happened it would have been Al Gore if it wasnt Bush.... just had to say that

and I agree with Munky, He did handle 9/11 pretty well, and Clinton was wrong to not pay really any attention to the threats. But Bush could have handled Katrina alot better. and of course, we shouldnt have gone into war.

He handed 9/11 well. I will hand him that. but don't get me started on how he had so many people over seas when there was that tsunami and it took FOREVER to get anything done in NOLA. I understand foriegn and domestic policy are different, but it still wasn't handled proprerly.

Believe me, on the Community Board, us grown-ups are exactly the same when discussing politics!!! Actually most of our political discussions are FAR worse!! Bottom line is that some love Bush, and some don't!!

so lets just throw all the electoral votes out and let the big states like california new york and texas decide for us who will be the president. That wouldnt work at all. I have to sit there in american history and listen to all the electoral stuff so I know what I'm talking bout. But personally I like Bush. But you have to remember he is only human too.

Yes, but comparing the job he's done to the jobs Lincoln did, FDR did, Regan did, he is just doing a terrible job.
