i have decided to take a trip to busch gardens on this trip, but it looks huge :scared:
do they have any transport around the park (like MK train),or am i just being a wimp? :goodvibes

Busch Gardens does have a train. It also has a skyway (sky buckets) like the MK used to have.

It is a good sized park and requires a good amount of walking, but its really not as bad as it looks.

thanks slacking,am looking forward to doing something different on this trip.

It's not as large as it looks, and the animal displays are scattered throughout the park, so there is plenty to stop and look at while you walk.

Thanks i am taking my dd 8 there next month! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :sunny:
My oldest daughter and 2 grandchildren are suppose to meet me there!!!!! :grouphug: :cloud9:

we are incorporating this into our trip this year as well, we are so excited

We spent three days there last month. We absolutely loved it.

I didn't see a petting zoo of any kind. I reccommend getting there for opening if at all possible. The mornings were really quiet but like Disney seems to get busier as the day goes on.

If you are able to down load their map and print it off before you go, if will help you plan a bit .

It was nice how the animal attractions were scattered amidst the rides/ other attractions. Busch also offers several shows (I think we saw 5 different shows, Katonga is not to be missed ) as well as meet the trainer/animal feeding sessions throughout the day.

IMHO, Busch is as clean as the Disney parks and the staff as friendly.

Have a great time.

Katonga is excellent.....it is right up there with the Legend of the Lion King.....

Totally agree about Katonga. There are some characters in there that look suspiciously like the Tumble Monkeys from FOTLK.

If you have the opportunity to do something special while you are, try to book theSerengeti Safari. It's a really neat experience.

Ride Rhino Rally first -- that line can get HOT and UNREAL as the day goes on, and sometimes the water portion of the ride goes down.

I really enjoy Busch Gardens. I think landscape wise, it's prettier than any Disney park.

If you are staying onsite at Disney, what is the best way to get to Busch Gardens? We would not have a car available.

we spent two days there this past week. The park was deserted - it was marvelous. There is a train and skyride. Be warned that the train sometimes has limited stops, and the skyride can also close. We tried Busch Gardens this past May and it was hot and the train had a limited route, and the skyride was closed - the park was crowded and rowdy - and did I mention hot? We left in a few shorts hours and rode just one or two rides. We did decide to try again this trip and the weather was cooler and the park was so quiet. One day the train was a one way ride and the skyride was closed due to high winds - so we walked alot - but it was nice and cool.

There was no petting zoo. Katonga was great. We encountered no lines. The animal attractions were wonderful.
I would visit the park again - but during a quiet time of year..

At one time SeaWorld had a shuttle to Busch Gardens for a small fee. This may be an option still. You would only need to get to back and forth to Sea World.

BG gets a bad rap sometimes, but look at the competition in orlando. my family loves it. it's a very unique park, and well-balanced between attractions and animals. the petting zoo is gone, but make sure to check out the animal nursery.

Just went to BG a week ago fo rfirst time, fantastic! Disney had better step things up a notch IMO. This park absolutely kills AK, not even close (3 peoples opinions) Best part was they had special "fun Pass" at regular ticket price you can return UNLIMITED TIMES ALL YEAR!
