Bush Gardens Tampa

I was unable to find a message board on Bush Gardens Tampa so I'm bringing my questions to all you wise folks here knowing that SOMEBODY has to have been to Bush Gardens

Does anyone know about wait times for the more popular rides this time of year? I was considering doing one of the guided tours for the front of the line access, but if the wait times are not too bad, I'd rather save my loot.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Although it's off the beaten track, Busch Gardens is still surprisingly busy, especially at weekends. Wait times are similar to Disney, possibly a bit less, but you can still count on an hour or more for the 'biggies' on busy days.

Because it's a large park the crowds are dispursed much the same way as Epcot , but you will still find formidible crowds, made worse by the recent opening of SheiKra.

If you do one of the tours, I can definitely recommend the Serengeti Safari, especially with children. Great fun and fantastic photos!

Thanks for the responses and the links.

I decided to do the Guided Adventure Tour which combines the Safari, FOTL access to the more popular rides, priority seating at the shows, lunch and a 20% discount in the shops.

It's a little expensive, but I'm not paying for admission to BGT as it was included with my discovery cove package and I'm sure the kids wouldn't be too happy about hour long waits for rides after coming from unlimited FOTL at USF/IOA.
