Bush at 36%, how low can he go?

First of all, thank you for acknowledging the question.

Because your answer above wouldn't stand up in a court of law since American citizens are not required to live under someone else's beliefs, I'll ask you again, and I'll even reframe the question for your convenience.

For American citizens, does the Constitution of the United States take precedence over the bible? You either believe that it does, or it doesn't. Which one is it?

The Constitution, unless there is something specific that is contrary to the Word of God, then as a Christian, the Bible would have to take precedence.

Do you have something specific stated by the Constitution in mind?

Ask the Iraqi's. The vast majority feel they were liberated from a terrorist supporting and brutal murdering dictator named Saddam.

it still wasn't our place to do so. over 2300 dead US soldiers, and over 30,000 Iraqi civilians in an invasion that never needed to take place. wrap yourself in the American flag and fall asleep on your Rush Limbaugh bedsheets.

I feel a verse of God Bless America coming on! Feel free to hum along.

Yes people die in war --- I blame the terrorists.

Does Rush Limbaugh sell bed sheets? Do Al Franken or Michael Moore (king size) sell them too? :rotfl:

So you have neither the time nor the inclination to research, but somehow this gives you the credibility to come to a judgement and be taken seriously.
You can't make this stuff up.

I have seen many, many examples, over this and other threads. I just won't waste my time going back, cutting and pasting to satisfy his request.

There's really no point. Just as there seems to be no point in presenting facts to refute your biased agenda.

But thanks for the input!

I don't know, I'm not a dem or a liberal.

Sorry. You are a liberatarian (sp?), I believe.

Perhaps off topic, but who politically do you root for these days?

Three years into this war, and there is nothing beyond the sketchiest insinuation put out there with the hope that people like you will carry the water one more time for the Nipper. And like Pavlov's dogs, you can set your watch by it.

And since you folks just love to compare Bush's folly with WWII, here's a little comparison. It took the Allies less than 4 years to defeat the Third Reich AND the Empire of Japan. We're now into the 4th year of the Iraq war, and the sack of crap in the WH still can't figure out who the enemy is and the definition of victory.

Don't forget that the intelligence was amassed by the Clinton built intelligence agencies, let's put blame in the proper perspective. You cut the agencies responsible for collecting this information to the bare bones and it's going to have an impact. All other foreign intelligence said the same thing.....hmmmm

We could have been done in 6 months had we fought this war the same as we fought WW II. Carpet bombing entire cities, nuclear bombs, pick your bombing poison.

Nope, never happened and you are a terrorist supporter to even suggest it. God bless the idiot in the white house and his great war leader Rumsfeld as they continue to rise to new heights of incompetence with God's help.

You are correct and yes she is!

I guess they were happier when people were dying within our own country. Thankfully, President Bush and 10's of millions of others were not.

no one. libertarian is as close to a label as I can find to my beliefs. I've come to the conclusion that you're only born free in this country, the government screws you out of the rest.

To call people terrorists if they oppose this war is truly disgusting! Fortunately it is now only 28% of American's that support it, so that is a whole lot of terrorists in the USA! You are slipping into oblivion, enjoy the trip down. :thumbsup2

Who do you think the representatives of Al Queda quote; Those who support the war on terror, of which Iraq is one of the theatres of operation or the MOONBATS? I think they and the insurgency clearly see the Moonbats on their side.

Someone on the extreme edge of whatever "ism" that happens to occupy them at the moment. Its become a term for the far left anti war crowd.

Considering that Ronald Reagan's approval ratings were at 35% at one point, Clinton's at 37%, I say, "so what"? Considering the fact that he takes an undeserved and unprecedented pounding from the press on an hourly basis, I think he is doing well at 36%. He doesn't care about polls, he cares about the American people.

fair enough. show me one person who hijacked the planes on September 11th that's of traceable ties to Iraq. for god's sake, the US is harboring Al-Quaeda. why didn't we invade Pakistan, Syria, Saudi Arabia? Islamic zealots are global, but conveniently, we target Iraq. and spend hundreds of billions and 2000+ US lives in the process. and for what? Bin Laden is still walking around alive and sending out video feeds.

there's your terrorist Joe, go catch him. then you can use "we" in your statements and hum along to god bless america. Iraq is an effing nightmare brought on by a bubble-headed commander in chief and a support staff watching the profiteering dollars roll in.

You and several others have taken this way past simply opposing the war. There is nothing wrong with having an opposing view. It's the way you do it that is so disgusting.

Thank you for answering.

So let's clarify this so that there is no misunderstanding. What you're actually saying is that the bible takes precedence, correct? Do you include precedence in American law when you say that?

Joe, I'm bringing your reply over to the "Is being gay a lifestyle choice" thread, where this question was asked of you. The question you posed is much more relevant in that thread at this moment.

The Republican Party runs the White House, the Congress, and has a majority on the Supreme Court. Everything that we have done as a country over the past 5+ years has been done on your party's watch, and now there are some of you who want to tell those of us who disagree how we should disagree?!? Pretty callous, IMO.

Your party has won...you control everything...enjoy! The President's not pulling out the troops, just like you want, the Republican controlled Congress continues to spend money faster than they can print it, they continue to twist and tweek the Constitution to fit their agenda...it's party time Republicans! Get crazy!

Oh Captain my Captain, you are so wrong. I am very "far left" of the far right. I am in the ballpark though. Come on in, it's better in here.
