Buses on the BW/SD/BY Route

Has anybody ridden the buses between the parks and the BW/SD/BY over the summer?

I stayed at BW in June and had a terrible experience with the buses. To list a couple of incidents; at one point we waited about an hour for a bus to DTD, on return runs BW patrons had to wait for the 5th stop till they reached BW (BCV's would then be the 4th stop). I wil limit my comments as to the bus delays at the parks. Generally, the wait times, to and from parks, seemed to be at the outer limits (20-30 min) if not in excess.

I called guest services after my stay and spoke with a CM who seemed concerned.

I was just wondering if they improved their service on that route, since I am in the process of buying at BCV

I don't know about improvements, but when I stayed at BWV last February, I had a bus that went the whole round after E-Night at MK.

I got off the bus at the Swan and walked back to the BWV from there. It's not that far, and the boardwalk is nice at nice with lots of stuff going on and the carnival stuff was open. I actually found it less stressful then staying on a crowded bus.

Hope the bussing gets better.

I agree with the walk. I did it once. I got off at Swan and arrived at BW 10 minutes before DW on the bus. The only problem is waking up 3 kids to walk that far (which we did once) or walking in the rain.

I know what you mean. Last time we were there we waited outside the BW for a DD bus for 40 minutes. We ended up taking a cab after the fifth Coronado Springs bus came around.

It seems, especially at BW, that if the buses are full, from the other resorts, they don't bother coming by, which I understand. But I don't see them calling another bus to fill the gap. I know this is true. My friend got on at BCV and they didn't pass by BW because the bus was full.

When we were there a CM came by to review the situation and logged that no buses came by for DD/TL between 7:30am and 9:30am. That is a long time. Maybe that bus line doesn't run at that time.

I am just concerned because I don't want to be at BCV (which is the 4th stop) and experience the same problem.

Believe it or not, I never had a problem at All Stars (we stayed there three times).
